Privacy Policy
setmeupai.com is a two-page site. We do not run analytics, we do not set our own cookies, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
What we collect
- If you email or call us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply.
- If you book the free look, that happens on Calendly (a third party). Calendly collects the name, email, and any details you enter, plus standard technical data, under its own privacy policy.
- If you arrive on a tagged link (for example from a text message), the booking link passes that tag along to Calendly so I know which page you came from. The tag names a page, not a person, and nothing is stored on this site.
- Third-party requests. The fonts on this page are served from setmeupai.com itself, so nothing on this site is requested from Google. Booking links load Calendly. We don't control what Calendly does with that data; see its policy.
If we build your CRM
Nothing about your real customer data touches anything during the free look. If we build, your customer list goes into an account in your name, backed up nightly and exportable any time. I access it only to build, fix or maintain what you've asked for.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Just email lombarddaniel14@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This service is for adults running their own business. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
Terms of Service
What SetMeUp is
SetMeUp builds custom CRMs, meaning customer-tracking systems, for independent businesses. The service is a build and install of a CRM around your stages, your words and your customer list, delivered in one install session on a call or at your desk, plus an optional monthly hosting plan. If you'd rather keep the CRM you already have, the setup-only service configures it around your stages instead.
The guarantee
Our promise is one sentence: if it doesn't end up working for you, you don't pay for it. Defined plainly: if the agreed stages and fields aren't set up, your list isn't imported, or your team can't log a customer and a follow-up by the end of the install session, you don't pay for the build. The same guarantee covers the setup-only session on the CRM you already have: if it isn't working by the end of that session, you don't pay for it. You pay after the session, not before, and there is no deposit; the monthly plan, if you take it, starts on install day. The guarantee covers the build and install, and the setup-only session, themselves. It is not a guarantee of any business result such as revenue, renewals, bookings or time saved, which depend on how you use it. Before any build starts, we sign a short written agreement covering ownership, export, backups and the liability cap below.
The monthly plan (optional)
- Your CRM is hosted and backed up nightly.
- You can export everything at any time, from the export button or by asking.
- You can cancel any time. The CRM keeps working in your account after you cancel. You take over the hosting bill or move it to a host of your choice, and you get a full export first; nightly backups and my support stop.
- Your data lives in an account in your name. You own your data.
- I reply within a business day when something needs changing, and your one connection is kept working. One price, however many people use it.
- The plan states no uptime guarantee. It promises backups, an export, and a person who answers.
Third-party software
Your CRM runs on open-source CRM software under its own licence; I configure it around your business. If I set up a CRM you already subscribe to, that vendor's subscription and terms are yours, not ours. Tools connected to your CRM, such as your invoicing, scheduler or management system, stay under their own terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The open-source software and the third-party tools connected to it are made by others; we don't control them, and they can change over time. We don't provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lombard Ventures (Daniel Lombard) will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the build or setup session giving rise to the claim or, for the monthly plan, the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Your responsibilities
- You check the imported list and anything the CRM produces before you rely on it.
- You keep your login details secure. We ask you never to share passwords, card numbers, or other secrets with us directly.
- If you cancel the monthly plan, export your data first or ask for the export before the plan ends.

Disclosures
Founding-price clients
The first three businesses pay the founding price of $1,497 instead of $1,997, in exchange for a two-line testimonial with a number in it after the install. Any testimonial from a founding-price client is marked as such wherever it appears. There are no client testimonials on this site yet.
Independent of every vendor
SetMeUp and Lombard Ventures are independent of every CRM vendor and every AI provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on this site; their names appear only to describe or compare their products. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Competitor prices
The vendor prices on the home page were read from those vendors' own price pages on 12 September 2026 and may have changed since.
